Monitoring Software

Active Net Steward (ANS) is a centrally managed firewall that supplements perimeter protection with internal protection

It is a software solution that runs on the servers and desktop machines in your network, examining each connection that is attempted, and allowing or blocking it according to the centrally defined management policy

ANS enforces the corporate usage policy onto the servers and desktops, rather than through a paper document

Regular Security Checks

Every release of software has a 'feature' of some sort, which can often be used for hacking purposes. Many of these security issues are well documented, and fixes are available to block the security holes. However with so many things to check, very few network managers have the time or technical knowledge to achieve regular full security checks

We can offer two solutions to this, the first is a software solution which you can run yourself as often as you like. This software will check all specified devices on your network for all known security flaws, flagging up issues, and recommending fixes

The second solution is a Penetration Test performed by experts in the security field. We can perform this test remotely, and not only flag up security issues, but also tell you how you can fix them

This test can be performed on a one off, as and when needed basis. Or alternatively as a regular quarterly security check on your network, employing the latest updated information available
